Welcome

Picture

Over the past thirty years, I have hiked hundreds of miles and taken thousands of photographs throughout New Mexico and the American Southwest.  It has been a labor of love.  As an outdoor photographer, I focus my lens on the land and its people, in an effort to capture iconic images of nature, landmarks, and culture.

My photographic mission is to record not only a particular place, person, or time but also to reveal the spirit of that place, person, or time through compelling images.  In my photography I seek the universal in the particular.

The GALLERY link takes you to some of my award-winning images, grouped into four portfolios:  The American Southwest, Fine Art, Portraits, and Black-and-White.

The STORE link offers images for purchase, including fine art prints and posters, as well as my popular 72-page guidebook:  Photographing Albuquerque.

The BLOG link offers my thoughts on photography.

The WORKSHOP link describes the seven digital photography workshops that I teach at a local gallery throughout the year.

Thank you very much for visiting.
