Book Description
As a travel guide, Photographing Albuquerque is unique because it is written to digital photographers, from the novice to the more advanced. Each chapter in the book highlights a different location and a different photographic theme. The book is filled with dozens of professional tips.
The book is divided into three parts. In Part 1, the author describes the Top Ten Photo Sights in Albuquerque, including Old Town, the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Petroglyph National Monument, Historic Route 66, the Rio Grande Zoo, the Rio Grande Nature Center, and the Albuquerque International Balloon Festival.
In Part 2, the author describes Eight Great Day Trips around Albuquerque, including Coronado State Park, Bandelier National Monument, Tent Rocks National Monument, Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge, and El Morro National Monument.
In Part 3, the author offers a nine-page Tutorial on Digital Photography, including detailed information on camera equipment and accessories, professional lighting tips, and ten guidelines for creative composition.
